## Season 3 — Based Diamond System (Active)

Season 3 Diamonds are the latest points system, rewarding users through activity and participation on Based.

### Earning Diamonds

* Each epoch lasts **1 day**, with **432,098 Diamonds** issued per epoch.
* Diamonds are **100% allocated to Hyperliquid-related trading activities** by default. Reward calculations reflect genuine trading activity, consistent with Seasons 1 and 2.
* Referrers and referees receive a **10% bonus** on Diamonds earned.
* **No Diamonds** are allocated for prediction market activity or PUP holders.

### Claiming

Tokens earned via Season 3 are intended to be claimable on **11 May 2026**, 7 days after the season ends.

### Terms

* Based reserves the right to modify Season 3 rules, allocations, eligible activities, and timelines at its sole discretion.
* Depending on new product launches, additional eligible activities may be added to the Diamond allocation during the season. Changes apply to future earnings only and will not affect previously earned Diamonds.
* Notice will be provided ahead of any adjustments.
* Exact activity weightages will not be disclosed.

## Season 2 — Based Gold System (Concluded)

Season 2 introduced Based Gold as the progression system, replacing XP.

* Each epoch lasted **3 days**, with **10,000,000 Gold** issued per epoch.
* Gold was earned through trading activities, affiliate activities, PUP holdings, and card spending.
* Additional Gold was issued for HIP-3 partners and via Blind-boxes.
* Prediction market activity also earned Gold (see [Prediction Markets](https://basedapp.gitbook.io/docs/based/prediction)).
* All Season 2 Gold is now **locked** — no new Gold will be issued.
* Holders of Season 2 Gold are eligible for airdrop allocation of the Based Token.

* Users earned XP through activity, participation, and card spending on Based.
* All Season 1 XP is now **locked** — no new XP will be issued.
* Holders of Season 1 XP are eligible for airdrop allocation of the Based Token.
