Based Points
There are two categories of Based Points: XP (From use of Based Terminal) + Card Points (From use of Based Cards).
Season 3.2 has begun on 12 Feb 2026, 12:00 UTC. Season 1, 2 and 3.1 have concluded.
Season 3 – Based Diamond System Estimated End Date: 04 May 2026 12:00 UTC 🔸 Season 3 Diamonds are the latest XP system, designed to reward users through activity and participation on Based. 🔸 Season 3 points emissions are structured across two phases: Phase 1 (Ended): Jan 5 – Feb 12, 2026, total issuance of 15,000,000 Diamonds Phase 2 (Ongoing): Feb 13 – May 4, 2026: total issuance of 35,000,000 Diamonds 🔸 Each epoch lasts 1 day. 🔸 A fixed 432,098 Based Diamonds will be issued every epoch. 🔸 Categories of activities that earn Diamond (exact weightage will not be disclosed):
By default, Diamonds are 100% fully allocated for Hyperliquid-related trading activities only. Reward calculations are designed to reflect genuine trading activity, consistent with the mechanics used in Seasons 1 and 2.
There are no Diamonds allocated for prediction market activity, as well as for PUP holders
Referrers and referees will continue to receive 10% bonus on Diamonds earned
🔸 Tokens earned via Season 3 are intended to be claimable on May 11, 2026, 7 days after the end of the campaign. Depending on new product launches and adjustments, additional eligible activities may be integrated into the Diamond allocation during the season. This will not affect prior-earned Diamonds and only those going forward. Notice will be given ahead of adjustments.
Season 2 – Based Gold System 🔸 Season 2 introduced Based Gold, which replaces XP as the new progression system. 🔸 Each epoch lasts 3 days. 🔸 A fixed 10,000,000 Based Gold will be issued every epoch. 🔸 Other Based Gold allocations may be issued out for HIP-3 partners, or via Blind-boxes. 🔸 It represents a dynamic and ongoing incentive system for active users. 🔸 Categories of activities that earn Gold (exact weightage will not be disclosed):
Gold allocated for trading related activities
Gold allocated for affiliate activities
Gold allocated for PUP holders

🔸 All Season 2 Gold is now locked in stone, no new Gold will be issued. 🔸 Holders of Season 2 Gold are eligible for airdrop allocation of the Based Token.
Season 1 – XP System 🔸 Season 1 was based entirely on the XP system. 🔸 Users earned XP through activity and participation on Based. 🔸 All Season 1 XP is now locked in stone, no new XP will be issued. 🔸 Holders of Season 1 XP are eligible for airdrop allocation of the Based Token.
For each of these activities, there are some specific ratios and filters being applied into the formula, and will not be revealed.
Ongoing - Based Card Points
🔸 Card Holders are eligible to earn card points depending on their card spend and tier. 🔸 Holders of Based Card Points are eligible for airdrop allocation of the Based Token, as well as future benefits. Please give up to 14 days for Based Card Points to reflect from your transaction spend as credit card processors take some time to process your transactions.
